AngloINFO in Germany
In 2007 AngloINFO launched its first website in Germany, AngloINFO Berlin, to be followed
by further regional sites serving Hamburg, Bavaria and North Rhine Westfalia.
Germany is big in many ways: the vast landmass stretches from the heights of the Alps to the North Sea coastline,
it has the largest population of all European Union member states and is the world's third largest economy and its largest exporter of goods.
Also, it shares borders with more countries than any other in Europe. Combine these factors and you're bound to get a demographically dynamic country.
Records show that 7 million foreign citizens were registered in Germany in 2004, and that number is growing. While many come from the Eastern European
countries and Turkey, Berlin and Hamburg are also home to international western organisations and the staff of aerospace, media and internet, music and film industries and more.
Germany is often teased for its humourless efficiency. But it's this efficiency that makes it a relatively easy place to take up residence and get to work. The
large number of expatriates spread throughout the country will be able to make the most of their time there with the unparalleled information and interaction of AngloINFO.
